Photo Post 11: Mini Putt Golf, Warner Robins GA

How neat is this? Driving up US-127 from Bonaire, we found this abandoned mini-golf on the right. Of course, I had to get some pictures of it before it all gets bulldozed for condominiums. Of course, this is hardly prime real estate. It’s more likely that it will be swallowed by nature first.

I really like the frog and the mad hatter. Shame there wasn’t a dinosaur, though.

  1. Growing up, we used to love going there. I haven’t driven past in years, so I’m surprised it’s still standing, even if in disarray and decay. Maybe if more business moves into the industrial park a bit further up the highway, then they’ll start developing that area again. Did you happen to notice if the go-kart place next door was still in operation?

  2. False!!!!!! We traveled the entirety of US 127 from Bonaire yo to Warner Robins. Nothing. I know they have probably bulldozed it and that’s fine but there was no where on google maps that showed this. Nothing on google that said anything about this place except your ‘blog’. You should really included location addresses or what it’s near like a road you passed. I noticed train tracks in your photo, you could have included the name of the road that crossed over that. We have spent hours now.

    1. Google Maps shows the site at 11118 HWY. 247 WARNER ROBINS GA 31088. I found the address at this site: on the second page of results after Googling “closed mini golf near warner robins -rigby.” The photo from the Google truck is dated April 2016 and shows the site still intact then.

This took me less than eight minutes to locate and type this reply, and I didn’t have to be a jerk about it.
