Heavy’s Bar-B-Q, Crawfordville GA

Here’s a restaurant in a part of the state we rarely visit at meal time; we’ve usually been on our way to Augusta or Columbia early in the morning, before this place opened, and returning full and disinterested in stopping late in the evening. But since we were working in reverse on this trip, we were able to eat here, and enjoyed a spectacular meal. Continue reading “Heavy’s Bar-B-Q, Crawfordville GA”

Roger’s Bar-B-Que, LaGrange GA

Eagle-eyed readers might have spotted that, while we’ve always championed Georgia barbecue, we certainly have spotlighted a little more of it than usual this year. I’ve always been hopeful of finding something new and amazing, and I’ve always been hopeful that other bloggers and hobbyists will both follow up on some of these places, and discover more. More Songs About Buildings and Food

Regarding Atlanta, we are done. After writing about 720 different restaurants in the metro Atlanta area, we have moved to Tennessee and, unless something really amazing demands to be eaten and documented, we think it’s time to stop talking about Atlanta and pay more attention to other places.
